The Midnight of my Youth had been a more odd choice in his reading when he was younger, but he recollected the poetry that had actually kept his attention, and that's why once the novel had been ordered he intended to present it to someone else who, probably, did a lot of reading, absentmindedly thinking hey, maybe he would enjoy the novel too! )
[ Though admittedly not that hard to find, with the garden car being there, it is still slightly surprising to be sought after to be given something...
... probably will be more surprising once he figures out what the thing is. ]

They've nosed around me before, they're cute. The black one's even pretty bold!
( As in has tried to and succeeded in scaling Wei Wuxian in the past, not that Wei Wuxian attempts to be anything but scalable for the rabbits. Or children, though truly young children are not on the train, just in worlds before.
He's in an easy sprawl, looking at some of the greenery around him, rather than his companion for the moment. He likes it here, no matter how structured it is: the green feels more grounding than near every other carriage here. )
What was it like, once the rabbits moved onto the back mountain?
